It’s simple; If you want life to change – then you’ve gotta change. If you want life to be better – then you’ve got to get better.
This could be the greatest time in your life. You could have the greatest emotional intelligence, the strongest spiritual life and the largest financial wealth if you just control what you focus on and if you can find a more empowering meaning.
But in order to do this, you must control your mental state. And in order to do that, you’re gonna need to create “the right” rituals in order to calibrate your mind.
I don’t just mean doing something once and forgetting it. I mean every single morning you get up, you begin your day with a very specific pattern. Because life comes from our rituals. And if you don’t form rituals that empower you, you’re kidding yourself to think you’ll ever be more than you are now.
Once you do that, and if you’re still not getting what you want, the next step is to find your inner conflicts. It’s your inner conflicts that’ll decide your success or failure at anything. Eighty percent of success in anything is based on your psychology. And when you find you’re taking two steps forward, followed by three steps back, it’s that inner conflict that’s causing it.
If you don’t have what you want, stop telling yourself the story of not having the time or the money or the resources. That’s bullshit. It’s because you haven’t committed yourself. If you want to take the island, burn your fucking boat and you’ll take the island. When people are given a choice to die or succeed, most people succeed. – T. Robbins
When you fully commit, when you know your reason “why” for living, when you have crystal clarity of vision and when your purpose becomes greater than the cost and pain of your effort – you’ll succeed.
The true form of success comes when your actions are congruent with your thoughts. When what you do is in alignment with who you are. It comes when you tell yourself the truth. When you’re able to feel uncertainty and take action anyway. It is reconciling to move forward even with a degree of intrepidity.
The true form of success comes when your actions are congruent with your thoughts.
Success and happiness is about learning to feel grateful for what you have without settling for it. To live in an attitude of gratitude, while still having a desire to evolve.
Lastly, understand that losing is a learned behavior. It’s a toxic state of mind that will permeate all aspects of your life. So is winning. And if you find yourself dissatisfied with your scoreboard, I urge you to take a look at the people you surround yourself with because I can guarantee they play a huge factor in the quality of your life. If you find yourself surrounded by losers, you know who you are. We sit in the chair of our life choices.
We sit in the chair of our life choices.
In the field of Artificial Intelligence, the greatest insight is the understanding that our thoughts and actions, who we are, are patterns. And believe me when I tell you – you control the pattern.
